Job summary

Centers Laboratory in Cedar Knolls, NJ is seeking a Lab Technician to support specimen procurement and preparation for analysis, including labeling, pipetting, and organizing samples, plus maintenance of Mass Spec equipment.

The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS in a life science and has about 1 year of Toxicology experience, with hands‑on work in LCMS, HPLC or ICPMS and strict adherence to CLIA, HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or related life science.
• 1 year toxicology experience.
• Experience with LCMS/HPLC/ICPMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes specimen procurement and preparation for analysis.
• Operates and maintains LCMS, HPLC, and ICPMS instruments.
• Performs QC and calibrations for procedures daily.
• Maintains inventory and prepares reagents for Mass Spec.
• Follows CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines.
