Job summary

Vibrant America is seeking a Clinical Lab Technician to support the Mass Spectrometry Department in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical samples. You will work with LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, and ICP-MS, ensuring timely results for patient diagnostics and research.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to SOPs in a fast-paced lab. Qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, or Biochemistry, plus experience with MS

Qualifications

Experience operating LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, or ICP-MS.
Familiarity with QC checks and regulatory standards.
Ability to follow SOPs and document results.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
Experience with data analysis software.

Responsibilities

Prepare biological samples for MS analysis using LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS and ICP-MS.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mass spectrometers and equipment.
Perform calibration and QC checks to ensure accuracy.
Follow CLIA, CAP, and GLP guidelines for quality and accreditation.
Assist in method development, validation and optimization.
Analyze results, document findings, and report using LIMS.
Maintain instrument logs, sample tracking, and QC documentation.
Adhere to PPE and safe handling of chemicals and samples.
Collaborate with scientists and clinical staff to ensure workflow and data integrity.
