Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• MLS degree or 2+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and certify LC/MS data from instruments utilizing Analyst and Ascent software.
• Determine if data is acceptable or not and then upload results.
• Verify calibration, quality controls, and patient data up to result entry.
• Maintain, calibrate, and clean instrumentation; perform routine maintenance on GC, GC-MS, HPLC, and UPLC-MS/MS and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair issues, troubleshoot instrument function and data integrity.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses on organic/inorganic samples; develop new procedures.
