Job summary

Labcorp is seeking an Associate Chemist to join our Mass Spectrometry team in Burlington, NC. This role involves reviewing LC/MS data, ensuring the accuracy of results, and maintaining various laboratory equipment. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science and relevant clinical laboratory experience. The position requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The work schedule will be Thursday-Sunday, 10:00pm-8:30am. Comprehensive benefits are offered, including medical, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree.
• Demonstrated success in clinical testing technical proficiency.
• Advanced knowledge of specific laboratory functions.

Responsibilities

• Review and certify LC/MS data from instruments.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Maintain, calibrate, and clean instrumentation.
