Job summary

KCAS Bio is seeking an Analyst I to support bioanalytical studies in the Mass Spec Bioanalysis Development group. You will assist with sample prep, laboratory testing, data processing, and documentation, enabling high-quality bioanalysis.

You will learn KCAS lab procedures and work with experienced scientists, gaining hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS, chromatography, and analytical methods in drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related field.
• Foundational lab experience from academic, internship, or industry.
• Basic understanding of analytical chemistry, chromatography, and/or MS.
• Ability to follow written lab procedures and ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples, solutions, reagents, and materials per procedures.
• Support LC-MS/MS analysis with training and guidance.
• Process data and maintain accurate lab documentation.
• Ensure proper sample identification, handling, storage, and tracking.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and workspace to support studies.
