Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products in the Atlanta area seeks a Masonry Technical Installation Representative to serve as a technical SME, responding to installation and product questions and developing training programs for field and classroom use.

The role covers TN, NC, SC, FL with travel to AL/LA; ideal candidate sits in Greater Atlanta and must be willing to travel 50%. The position emphasizes safety, training delivery, and collaboration with installers and contractors.

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction experience and/or
• 5 years of masonry experience and/or
• 3 years installing manufactured stone veneer preferred
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
• Well versed in installation techniques, product knowledge, codes and warranties
• Time management and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated and results-driven
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Demonstrate ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly

• Present Power Point training for contractors, builders and industry professionals
• Help increase installation quality by hands-on training
• Increase the number of qualified installers by partnering with trade organizations and schools
• Develop relationships with contractors and installation companies in territory
• Participate in preconstruction and jobsite visits for ongoing projects
• Support regional sales teams with product knowledge, support and service
• Assist Warranty Claims Dept via site visits for information gathering
• Lead initiatives around safety and keep it part of culture

Summary

The Masonry Technical Installation Representative will serve as the technical subject matter expert and be responsible for responding to technical, installation and product related questions. This position will also be responsible for the development and implementation of both classroom and field installation training programs for our products. Product responsibility includes all Stone brands. This position will cover TN, NC, SC, FL, with minimal travel to AL and LA territories.

• Ideal candidate will sit in or close to the Greater Atlanta area and must be willing to travel.**

Duties And Responsibilities

May include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work safely every day and demand safety from those in contact with
• Conduct training on Westlake Royal Stone Solutions products and installation guidelines for sales team and consumers
• Deliver product knowledge training of Westlake Royal Stone Solutions ancillary products to educate and create demand for those products
• Present Power Point training for contractors, builders and industry professionals
• Help increase the quality of installation by performing hands on training
• Increase the number of qualified installers by working with trade organizations and Trade Training Schools
• Develop relationships with contractors and installation companies within the territory.
• Participate in preconstruction and jobsite visits for ongoing projects
• Assist Area Sales Manager pull through demand for Westlake Royal Stone Solutions with job specific support and training
• Provide support to regional sales teams to help grow sales through product knowledge, support and service
• Support Warranty Claims Dept through site visit for information gathering.
• Continues to lead initiatives around safety, ensuring safety is part of our culture

Education, Experience And Qualifications

• 5 years of construction experience and/or
• 5 years of masonry experience and/or
• 3 years installing manufactured stone veneer preferred
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
• Well versed in all aspects of installation techniques, product knowledge, building codes and product warranties
• Time management and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated and results-driven
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to operate a pickup truck with trailer as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job will require on average about 50% travel. Ability to be away from home for multiple nights per week and riding in automobiles for several hours per day is required. Insurability and valid US state driver’s license is mandatory.
