Job summary

Monteith Construction, Wilmington, North Carolina, seeks a Masonry Superintendent to lead field operations in Citadel Masonry. You will schedule, direct daily activities, manage safety, and ensure quality and budget targets are met with strong coordination across teams.

Proficiency in project software (Procore, Newforma) and MS Office is preferred; travel within NC/SC is required. This role offers competitive pay and benefits in a dynamic, collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and direct daily activities to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Maintain daily records, timecards, field reports, and emails.
• Promote safety and cleanliness on the jobsite; attend progress meetings.
• Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors; support training and improvement initiatives.
• Utilize project management software (Procore, Newforma) as needed.

What You'll Do At Citadel

• Ensuring that all projects are performed in accordance with contract and quality standards
• Scheduling and directing the daily activities of work and assuring that the project objectives of cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, and quality are met
• Maintaining daily paperwork; timecards, field reports, and E-mail correspondence
• Promoting and maintaining safety, health, and cleanliness on the jobsite
• Attending pre-construction, progress and other project meetings
• Participating in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiatives
• Project management software experience strongly preferred; Procore, Newforma, etc.
• Ability to read and understand construction schedules.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours when needed
• Ability to travel (NC / SC)
