Qualifications

• Strong masonry skills including structural and decorative work.
• Experience with cement work: mixing, placing, finishing and curing concrete.
• Brickwork skills: laying, cutting and aligning bricks for walls and facades.
• Stonework skills: setting, shaping and finishing natural/manufactured stone.
• Renovation experience: repair, restoration, modification of masonry structures.
• Experience supervising construction crews, managing schedules and coordinating with subcontractors/inspectors.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards; enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and project documents.
• Effective communication and leadership; direct diverse teams and resolve site issues promptly.
• Previous leadership roles in masonry or concrete construction (Foreperson/Superintendent).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to various job sites.

Role Description

The Masonry Superintendent reviews drawings, manages materials and equipment, and works with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors to resolve issues and keep projects on track. Daily tasks include monitoring productivity, enforcing safety protocols, conducting site walk-throughs, and documenting progress, issues, and changes. The role also involves mentoring crew leaders, supporting training on best practices, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
