Job summary

B&M Concrete, LLC. is seeking a Masonry Superintendent for a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL. You will supervise daily masonry operations, manage crews and coordinate with project managers, general contractors and inspectors to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, maintaining materials, mentoring crew leaders, and enforcing safety protocols while ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines on commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Strong masonry skills including structural and decorative work.
• Experience with cement work: mixing, placing, finishing and curing concrete.
• Brickwork skills: laying, cutting and aligning bricks for walls and facades.
• Stonework skills: setting, shaping and finishing natural/manufactured stone.
• Renovation experience: repair, restoration, modification of masonry structures.
• Experience supervising construction crews, managing schedules and coordinating with subcontractors/inspectors.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards; enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and project documents.
• Effective communication and leadership; direct diverse teams and resolve site issues promptly.
• Previous leadership roles in masonry or concrete construction (Foreperson/Superintendent).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily masonry operations and crews on active job sites.
• Schedule and coordinate masonry work to meet timelines and budgets.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and per plans and quality standards.
• Review drawings, manage materials and equipment with project teams and inspectors.
• Mentor crew leaders and support training on best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and document progress and changes.
