Ground Works Land Design in Cleveland is hiring a Mason Tender to support our masonry crews on high-end residential and commercial projects. The Mason Tender plays a key role in preparing materials, maintaining job site organization, and assisting bricklayers and masons with daily tasks.

This entry-level position offers hands-on training, opportunities for advancement, and a pathway from Masonry Tender to Apprentice, Mason, Foreman, and Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of masonry experience or educational equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and mix mortar, concrete, and other materials.
• Transport brick, block, and stone to work areas.
• Set up scaffolding, tools, and equipment for masons.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist bricklayers with installation tasks as needed.
• Learn masonry trade techniques from experienced team members.
• On-call for snow removal during winter months.

Job Summary:

Ground Works Land Design is hiring a Mason Tender to support our masonry crews on high-end residential and commercial projects throughout the Cleveland area. The Mason Tender plays a key role in preparing materials, maintaining job site organization, and assisting bricklayers and masons with daily tasks.

This is a great entry-level position for someone looking to build a career in the skilled trades! You’ll work alongside experienced masons and have opportunities for advancement: Masonry Tender > Apprentice > Mason > Foreman > Project Manager

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Prepare and mix mortar, concrete, and other materials
• Transport brick, block, and stone to work areas
• Set up scaffolding, tools, and equipment for masons
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Assist bricklayers with installation tasks as needed
• Learn masonry trade techniques from experienced team members
• On-call for snow removal during winter months
• 1+ years of masonry experience or educational equivalent required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
• Spanish language skills a plus
