Soundside Masonry Inc in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a hardworking Mason Tender/Laborer to support skilled masons on residential and commercial projects. This hands-on role requires staying active outdoors and contributing to safe, efficient construction operations.

You will assist with brick, block and stone work, mix and supply mortar, set up scaffolding, and help maintain a clean, organized job site. A dependable team player who can follow directions and work outdoors in varying weather is

Qualifications

• Physically capable of demanding work on construction sites.
• Dependable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.
• Able to communicate effectively on the job site.
• Basic knowledge of masonry tools and materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist masons with brick, block, and stone installation on residential and commercial job sites.
• Mix, transport, and supply mortar, grout, and other masonry materials as needed.
• Set up and break down scaffolding, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials, maintaining an organized and clean work area.
• Operate hand tools and power tools in support of masonry operations.
• Follow all job site safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform general labor tasks as directed by the lead mason or foreman

Soundside Masonry Inc is looking for a hardworking and reliable Mason Tender/Laborer to join our crew in Virginia Beach, VA. • Assist masons with brick, block, and stone installation on residential and commercial job sites
• Mix, transport, and supply mortar, grout, and other masonry materials as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in masonry, construction labor, or a related trade is a plus
• Ability to perform physically demanding work - lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of masonry tools and materials preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively on the job site
