Marcus Hotels & Resorts' Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee seeks a Sous Chef for Mason Street Grill who will train, mentor, and supervise the kitchen team while upholding food quality, consistency, and presentation. You will lead line operations, assist in menu development, manage inventory and ordering, and ensure cleanliness and safety with strong leadership and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or formal training preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of culinary experience in a hotel, resort, or upscale dining environment, with supervisory responsibility.
• Solid knowledge of food products, preparation techniques, and kitchen standards.
• Basic understanding of food and labor cost awareness and the ability to support cost-control efforts.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or formal training preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of culinary experience in a hotel, resort, or upscale dining environment, with supervisory responsibility.

• Basic understanding of food and labor cost awareness and the ability to support cost-control efforts.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
