Job summary

Valence is seeking a motivated associate in West Springfield, MA to process parts, follow work orders, and inspect materials for quality. You will complete paperwork, handle materials safely, and perform additional duties as required in a regulated manufacturing setting.

No prior experience is required and training is available. This role supports manufacturing operations with adherence to ITAR requirements and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process parts according to shop work orders and drawings.
• Follow supervisor instructions for specific tasks.
• Inspect incoming parts for damages or scratches and ensure integrity.
• Complete work orders and paper-work per drawings and specs.
• Handle materials safely in compliance with regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Process parts according to shop work order and applicable specifications/drawings.

Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks.

Ensure integrity of incoming parts (visual inspection of damages, scratches etc.)

Complete work order and all necessary paperwork according to job, drawings and specifications.

Manage materials safely and in accordance with all regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $20-$23/hour

This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
