Qualifications

• Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
• Must be detailed oriented as the role requires painting with small brushes.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepares work for selective copper plate by masking areas to be heat treated with nylon tape and/or stop-off compounds.
• Reads and determines work instructions.
• Immediately reports any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to Heat Treater, Foreman/Lead Person or management.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• Safely cares for customer inventory and prevents loss or damage.
• Reports for work on time, follows directions, interacts effectively with co-workers, and follows rules and procedures.
• Cross-training and development of additional skills.

Position Summary

Based in Huntington Park, CA the Masker will perform essential job functions as directed under close supervision.

Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

• Accurately prepares work for selective copper plate by masking areas to be heat treated with nylon tape and/or stop-off compounds.
• Reads and determines work instructions
• Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to Heat Treater, Foreman/Lead Person or management.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
• This position will allows for cross training and development of additional skills

Pay & Benefits Information

The hourly pay for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.

This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable.
