Bodycote plc in Rancho Dominguez is seeking a Heat Treater to perform heat treating tasks under supervision to meet customer specifications. The role supports operations, ensures safety, and follows shop paperwork for controls and monitoring.
Three levels exist: Level C (0–24 months), Level B (2–3 years), Level A (3–5 years). Candidates may operate equipment, mentor others, and contribute to department goals, while maintaining quality and compliance.

Based in Rancho Dominguez the Heat Treater will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Production Manager and/or Supervisor to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed.
Level C: Entry Level: 0 to 24 months of heat treating experience. You will be expected to learn and grow in your role, with guidance from senior team members.
Level B: Mid-Level: 2 to 3 years of experience in heat treating. You should have a proven track record in heat treating, along with the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
Level A: Senior-Level: 3 to 5 years of experience and a deep understanding of heat treating. You will lead initiatives, mentor junior team members, and make strategic contributions to the department.

The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00- $20.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.
This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable.
