Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
U.S. Citizen or valid Green Card holder.
Basic understanding of anodizing terminology.
Strong attention to detail for quality and safety.
Basic computer skills to navigate software programs.
Ability to follow complex procedures and instructions.
Reliable, punctual and willing to overtime.

Responsibilities

Help uphold safety, quality, and customer satisfaction through diligent work.
Execute tasks based on priorities set by supervisors.
Interpret and apply information from purchase orders and process cards.
Log all production hours in the Arrow Flow system.
Prepare customer parts for processing by masking and unmasking them.
Package parts securely following PO and process card instructions.
Strive to meet or exceed production throughput rates.
Document and initial each stage on job tracking forms.
Assist and mentor colleagues during training.
Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
Maintain availability for a standard shift 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Job description

As a Masking Production Technician, you will be responsible for preparing, finishing, and preparing components for shipment. This role is essential to our manufacturing workflow, requiring a focus on safety and efficient organization during the masking and unmasking stages.

Performance Objectives

Contribute to the achievement of our operational targets for safety, quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
Execute the masking, unmasking, and packaging of components throughout the anodizing cycle by strictly adhering to provided process documentation.
Maintain consistent reliability by adhering to all company attendance standards.

Core Responsibilities

Help uphold our commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction through diligent work.
Execute tasks based on the priorities set by your supervisors.
Interpret and apply information from purchase orders and process cards.
Mark up purchase orders and process cards in alignment with internal protocols.
Log all production and non-production hours into the Arrow Flow system in a timely manner.
Prepare customer parts for processing by masking and unmasking them according to established guidelines.
Ensure parts are packaged securely by following the specific instructions found on POs and process cards.
Strive to meet or exceed established production throughput rates.
Document and initial each stage of the process on job tracking forms.
Support the growth of the team by assisting and mentoring colleagues during training.
Act as a positive influence and a model of accountability for the rest of the team.
Prioritize quality standards and provide immediate notification to leadership regarding any potential defects.
Alert management promptly when urgent issues arise that require intervention.
Keep your workspace tidy and systematically organized.
Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
Maintain availability for a standard shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Physical Requirements

Perform regular lifting of up to 10 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
Utilize fine motor skills and precision to continuously operate with your hands and arms.
Remain capable of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and stooping throughout an 8-hour shift as required by the role.
