Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Mask Manufacturing Technician to join our world-class fabrication team. You will perform production tasks, assist in new product development, and operate equipment to ensure quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will work onsite at the Hillsboro facility, focusing on defect identification, yield improvement, and process optimization while collaborating with engineers and operations to meet output goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in STEM required or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma plus 1+ year relevant experience accepted.
• Military electronic/avionic technician training is a plus.
• Experience with reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment to component level.

Join Intel Foundry's world-class manufacturing team as a Mask Manufacturing Technician, where you'll play a hands‑on role in producing the cutting‑edge semiconductor devices that power the AI era and improve lives around the globe. With a focus on defect identification, failure analysis, and process optimization, you will help uncover root causes of yield loss and collaborate with a diverse team to implement solutions that improve production performance. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will directly support Intel's mission to advance innovation and deliver high-performance computing solutions. This position requires regular onsite presence at our Hillsboro, Oregon facility.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks in the production process, ensuring that the finished products match the industry standards and customer specifications.
• Also supports developing, building and testing new products and prototypes, or processes for quality and functionality.
• Operates equipment either from a remote operations center or internal to factory.
• Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
• Maintains overall production efficiency of assigned tools/ modules, and optimizes production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings as needed.
• Sets up and operates production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• Supports activities related to the installation, qualification, maintenance, and training of new or reused production equipment.
• Drives maximum utilization of equipment and use of automated systems to maximize quality of output.
• Works with Manufacturing Operations Manager and peers to produce product that meets output requirements and escalates appropriately to management team when shift output schedules are at risk.
• Supports incorporating process improvements, and troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.
• Ensures availability of required raw materials for production.
• Inspects raw materials and final products, performing quality control evaluations to confirm items meet established standards.
• Conducts quality checks on the functionality of parts and components.
• Drives quality and cost improvements through area in conjunction with engineering.
• Maintains production logs and other required documentation as indicated by Standard Operating Procedures.

Shift Schedule

Shift 5 – Day: Sundays -Tuesdays and alternating Wednesday days (7:30 AM - 8:00 PM)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidate must possess an Associate's degree or higher in a STEM program OR;
• A High school Diploma or GED with 1+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
• Military electronic/avionic technician training
• End-user computer skills and navigation
• Schematic/wiring diagram reading
• Electronic systems
• Troubleshooting and maintenance and the testing and/or repairing and troubleshooting faulty electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of standard PC tools such as MS Windows, MS Outlook, and MS Office suite
• Previous experience in Mask/Wafer manufacturing environment is a plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $51,710.00-73,010.00 USD (Hourly Role). The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
