Vantor is hiring a Data Analyst with active TS/SCI and CI Polygraph to support MASINT analytics for a DoD/IC mission on-site in Reston, VA. You will process, analyze, and visualize structured and unstructured data, collaborating with senior data scientists to deliver insights.

The role emphasizes data pipelines, metadata, and knowledge-management workflows, with strong emphasis on documentation and stakeholder communication. Prior ICE, clearance and DoD experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, CS, engineering, statistics, GIS, or related discipline (or 2 years additional experience).
• 3 years of data analytics or data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with data wrangling libraries (pandas, PySpark) and APIs or batch tools.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
• Proficient with Tableau or similar dashboard tools.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP in data services.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior data scientists to prepare, clean, and process structured and unstructured datasets for analysis.
• Communicate analytical findings, assumptions, limitations, and recommendations to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Automate data-preparation, data-quality, and reporting tasks using Python and SQL.
• Query, integrate, and analyze data from relational databases, APIs, flat files, and enterprise platforms.
• Support data-pipeline requirements and document data issues, transformations, and validation needs.
• Assist in developing and deploying data pipelines with data engineering and DevOps teams.
• Tag metadata and curate datasets for knowledge management and LLM-enabled workflows.
• Develop recurring reports and ad hoc analyses to support leadership decisions.
