Job summary

DMI is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to support a large State of Maryland agency from Baltimore, MD. The role involves Tier I troubleshooting for software and hardware, end-user support, and on-site analysis of PC and network devices.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in IT, 6 years of experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to undergo fingerprint background checks. Work at multiple agency Baltimore locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an IT related field required, plus relevant certifications encouraged.
• 6 years of experience in IT support or service desk roles.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass fingerprint background investigation.
• Baltimore, Maryland location; eligible to work at multiple agency Baltimore locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day troubleshooting for software and hardware Tier I requests.
• Assist end users with PC services and network peripheral devices.
• Install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user devices and software.
• Document issues in MDOT and MTA ticket systems accurately.
• Generate technical/user documentation for network software/hardware.
• Perform annual physical inventory of computer assets across MDOT and MTA locations.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and service where needed.
