Job summary

HOKALI is seeking an After School Enrichment Educator to supervise and engage elementary and middle school students during after-school programs in Tulare, CA. You’ll create safe, fun, and supportive learning experiences, and help with homework as needed.

Hours are 2:30 PM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, September 22, 2026 to June 4, 2027. Compensation is $30 per hour; the role provides growth opportunities through the HOKALI Academy and onsite trainings.

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to complete 3 hours of online training before start date.
• Authorization to work in the US.

Schedule & Compensation

The program runs from September 22 2026 to June 4 2027.

• Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Compensation: $30 / hour

In this role, you will:

• Supervise Elementary or Middle school students.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and lead engaging recreational activities
• Assist students with homework and academic support as needed
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Organize and oversee snack time and outdoor play
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe

• 18+ years of age
• Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
• Ability to assist to onsite paid trainings the week before the program starts.
• Authorization to work in the US
