Job summary

Summit Public Schools invites applications for the Marshall Intern Credential Program launching in June 2026. Interns will work as teachers of record for two years while completing credentialing coursework in partnership with Stanford’s equity-focused program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Employed as a full-time teacher of record at a Marshall Intern Program partner school in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Prior experience as a full-time teacher of record, long-term substitute, and/or an instructional aide.

Responsibilities

• Engage in credentialing coursework, starting with a summer intensive and continuing throughout the school year.
• Serve as a full-time teacher of record for two years while completing credentialing coursework.
• Benefit from mentoring, in-classroom coaching, and collaboration with a connected community of peers.
