Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking a Marking and Tethering Evaluator to perform 4-point securement assessments for wheelchairs, power chairs and scooters. The role includes briefing applicants on boarding and safe vehicle use, documenting measurements, and maintaining ADA compliance.

Responsibilities include scheduling coordination, recalls investigations, training MTM staff, and community outreach to provide Mark and Tethering information. Proficiency in Salesforce and Rider360 is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 year of professional experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Experience and knowledge with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to safely assist customers with mobility devices.
  • Ability to assist with boarding/alighting mock buses.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to ask clarifying questions and obtain information.
  • Ability to work independently and with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Mark and Tethering 4-point securement assessments daily.
  • Monitor appointment schedules and brief applicants with devices.
  • Investigate recalls and provide resolutions to the Client.
  • Respond to Client and site Leadership inquiries via email within timeframe.
  • Meet deadlines and document assessments with photos, measures, weights within 48 hours.
  • Identify best and safest securement point for mobility devices.
  • Maintain up-to-date ADA knowledge and regulations.
  • Track tether inventory and report discrepancies and shortages.
  • Facilitate quarterly hands-on MTM employee training.
  • Participate in community outreach events for Mark and Tethering assessments.
  • Input data into Salesforce and Rider360 as needed.
  • Assist with other internal projects.

The Marking and Tethering Evaluator will provide a briefing on the process of boarding and riding a vehicle while using a mobility device, as well as an explanation for the marking and tethering assessment.
