Together, we thrive, push our limits, and work as team to help you reach your full potential.What Will Your Job Look Like?The Marking and Tethering Evaluator is responsible for conducting mark and tethering ADA assessments, transit orientations and safety briefings for all applicants that have mobility devices, and agree to the service. The Marking and Tethering Evaluator will provide a briefing on the process of boarding and riding a vehicle while using a mobility device, as well as an explanation for the marking and tethering assessment. The Marking and Tethering Evaluator will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of applicants by correctly identifying the safest securement point and providing markings and/or tethers on the mobility device.What You’ll Do:Conduct Mark and Tethering 4- point securement assessment of wheelchairs, power chairs and scooters on a daily basisMonitor the daily appointment schedule and provide briefings regarding the Mark and Tethering service to each applicant with a deviceInvestigate case recalls and provide a resolution to the ClientRespond to the Client and site Leadership regarding inquiries sent via email within the specified timeframeMeet contractual deadlines and accurately complete Mark and Tethering assessments which includes taking four photos of each mobility device, measures and weights device and recording all information in the system within 48 hoursIdentify the best and safest securement point for all mobility devicesMaintain up to date knowledge of ADA transportation and government regulations pertaining to occupant securementReview and investigate any device recalls and update regarding Mark and Tethering assessments per ADA guidelinesMaintain monthly statistical data of markingTrack tether inventory on a daily basis and report discrepancies, spoilage, shortages, and overages to Leadership and the ClientFacilitate quarterly hands-on training for MTM employeesActively participate in community outreach events to perform Mark and Tethering assessments and provide informationParticipate in initial and on-going training as required by MTM and ClientInput information into Salesforce and Rider360 software as neededAssist with other internal projects and tasks as neededWhat You’ll need:High diploma or GED equivalent1 year of professional experience working with individuals with disabilitiesExperience and knowledge with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to safely assist (lifting, pushing, and pulling) customers with limited mobility who may use mobility aids including but not limited to: cane, walker, manual or power wheelchair, or power scootersAbility and willingness to assist customers with boarding and/or alighting mock busesProficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to tactfully question and obtain informationAbility to work independently and as a partner or team member with a variety of individualsEven better if you have...Some collegeBilingualMarking and Tethering certificationExperience conducting interviews and/or assessmentsSalesforce experienceWhat’s in it for you:Health and Life Insurance PlansDental and Vision Plans401(k) with a company matchFlexible SchedulingPaid Time Off and Holiday PayMaternity/Paternity LeaveBirthday HolidayCasual Dress EnvironmentTuition ReimbursementMTM Perks Discount ProgramMilestone Anniversary One Month SabbaticalLeadership Mentoring OpportunitiesEqual Opportunity Employer: MTM is an equal opportunity employer.
