Job summary

State Street is seeking a Head of Markets Client Intelligence, Managing Director in Jersey City to build and lead the Markets Client Intelligence capability. You will transform client data into actionable insights that drive growth, partnering with Sales, Technology, Data, and leadership to deliver scalable intelligence across the franchise.

The ideal candidate blends commercial acumen with fluency in analytics and AI, translating objectives into scalable tech solutions and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience within financial services, capital markets, fintech, data, analytics, business management, strategy, COO, or related functions.
• Experience leading enterprise analytics, commercial intelligence, business management, strategy, or data-driven transformation initiatives.
• MBA, CFA, engineering, computer science, data science, or related advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Client Intelligence function within Markets Commercial & Client Strategy, establishing long-term vision and governance.
• Develop and manage a team of analytics and data professionals; scale capability over time.
• Create scalable frameworks turning client, relationship, revenue, and product data into commercial insights.
• Analyze client behavior across the sales lifecycle to strengthen relationships and commercial outcomes.
• Develop quantitative methods to measure engagement, cross-sell, and revenue impact.
• Establish leading indicators and dashboards for prioritization and accountability.
• Leverage AI and advanced analytics to automate insight generation and improve productivity.
• Oversee client scorecards, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for leadership.
• Deliver executive-ready insights with transparency into relationship quality and momentum.
• Bridge Business Strategy and Technology; define requirements and ensure delivery.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Data, and Tech to scale enterprise solutions.
• Promote data governance and reuse of shared capabilities across Markets.
