Job summary

Applied AI Co. is seeking a hands-on full-stack engineer to build the infrastructure and tools that support expert acquisition, onboarding, and project matching at scale in San Francisco.

You will partner with the growth team to replace manual processes with reliable systems and help improve how experts are matched to project needs. You will own marketplace infrastructure for outreach, interviewing, and onboarding; develop tools to manage experts and match them to projects; automate workflows;

Qualifications

• Two to five years of full-stack software engineering experience, with experience building and scaling systems end to end.
• Proficiency in Node.js or Python and Kubernetes; experience with Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch is useful.
• Experience with marketplace or growth infrastructure, ideally at a high-growth technology company.
• A track record of ownership and delivering tools or platforms that improve operational workflows.
• A degree from a strong university and authorization to work in the United States without relying on student visa status.

Responsibilities

• Build and own marketplace infrastructure for expert outreach, interviewing, assessments, and onboarding.
• Develop tools to manage experts and match them to projects based on fit and availability.
• Automate manual workflows and create internal tools that increase operational capacity.
• Work with growth teammates to identify bottlenecks, measure funnel performance, and ship improvements.
• Develop machine learning-based recommendations to anticipate project staffing needs and automate matching.
