Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Business Analyst to shape how sellers sell globally, leveraging rich datasets to create tools and metrics for stakeholders. You will build reports, perform ad hoc analyses, and communicate insights to influence decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate across teams, address seller-facing challenges, and contribute to policy and tooling improvements while protecting customer trust and Amazon’s reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
• Experience with SQL or ETL.
• 2+ years of experience writing complex Excel VBA macros.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain recurring metrics and reports.
• Complete ad hoc data retrieval and analysis using relational databases, Excel, and other data management systems.
• Design and implement reporting solutions enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
• Monitor existing metrics and develop new metrics with key stakeholders.
• Communicate insights to key stakeholders.
• Dive deep to solve unstructured and ambiguous problems, influencing product and policy roadmaps.
