Job summary

adMarketplace in New York seeks a Data Analyst to join the Finance team, collaborating with Operations and Pricing & Yield to turn data into actionable recommendations across marketplace dynamics. You will build and maintain models and dashboards that tie financial and operational data and surface insights for senior leadership.

The role sits inside Finance with cross‑functional exposure, offering visibility across the business and room to influence performance through data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, BI, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in business intelligence or data analytics.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience building forecasting or analytical models.
• Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).

Responsibilities

• Serve as dedicated data analyst embedded in marketplace operations; collaborate with Demand Ops, Supply Ops, and Campaign Management.
• Analyze marketplace dynamics: supply/demand, pricing trends, yield, and competitive positioning.
• Identify inefficiencies and build reporting to improve day-to-day decisions.
• Build and maintain models and dashboards unifying financial and operational data.
• Translate analyses into clear recommendations for senior leadership with financial impact.
• Support scenario planning and variance analysis linking drivers to outcomes.
• Identify trends and flag risks or opportunities before they impact performance.
• Establish best practices for analytical rigor and reporting consistency.
