Clear Destination Inc. in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Marketplace Cafe Attendant to join our busy resort café on a part‑time basis. You’ll help prepare coffee beverages, process food orders, and assist guests with a friendly, prompt service mindset.

You will handle cash with POS systems, support baristas, stock shelves, and maintain cleanliness of the café. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, being at least 16, and certification upon hire.

Marketplace Cafe Attendant | Part Time

Overview:

The Marketplace Cafe Attendant assists Resort guests in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. The Marketplace Cafe Attendant will help prepare coffee beverages (barista), process food orders, and retail sales and provide continuous upbeat, friendly and prompt service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. General knowledge of cash handling and Point of Sale systems.
2. Maintain housekeeping standards as applied to both retail merchandising and Café food and beverage cleanliness.
3. Ability to check in retail merchandise with accuracy and restock Café counter to supply and demand.
4. Good communication skills working directly with customers face to face as well as good phone etiquette.
5. Schedule flexibility to work Holidays and weekends, mornings and evenings.
6. Understanding of the basic operation of kitchen equipment as it relates to the Café counter.
7. Involved in physical inventories once per quarter or 4 times per year.
8. Assist the baristas in any way possible to assure quality service.
9. Prepare beverages, and help sell F&B items
