Job summary

Teleion in Seattle is seeking a Marketing Technical Project Manager who translates technical execution (APIs, integrations, CMS migrations) into well-scoped, end-to-end project plans. You will partner across technical and business stakeholders, own the full lifecycle beyond sprint cadence, and keep complex initiatives on track.

You will document status, manage risks, and coordinate across multiple teams, ensuring scope is realistic and timelines are credible.

Teleion is looking for a Marketing Technical Project Manager to join our team! Successful candidates will have experience translating technical execution into well-scoped project plans and can confidently partner across technical and business stakeholders to keep complex initiatives on track.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role supports a marketing operations function and closes a critical gap on the team: translating technical execution (APIs, integrations, scoping) into real, appropriately-scoped project plans, and confidently pushing back when a plan is over- or under-engineered — without needing to be a subject-matter expert in every underlying technology. This person operates a level above a scrum/agile lead, owning the full project view end-to-end rather than sprint-level execution, with time split between documenting and unblocking active issues and proactively anticipating risk.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate technical work — integrations, APIs, scoping conversations — into actionable, appropriately-scoped project plans.
• Partner technical execution with business change management.
• Serve as the central point of accountability and documentation for the team, tracking commitments and playing them back as one coherent status story.
• Coordinate across multiple, siloed functions and teams so status doesn't live only in one person's head.
• Proactively follow up on commitments so items don't quietly slip.
• Push back on scope with confidence — flag when a plan is over- or under-engineered, even without full technical depth on every detail.
• Support active initiatives such as CMS conversion work and organizing execution steps for overloaded product owners managing large, disparate portfolios.

REQUIREMENTS

• Hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise technology transitions — CMS-to-CMS conversions, system-of-record integrations, or comparably complex enterprise change.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical execution into project management.
• Comfortable partnering technical delivery with business change management.
• Strong documentation and accountability skills across siloed teams and workstreams.
• Confident, credible voice when pushing back on scope or timeline.
• Track record operating above the scrum/agile-lead level — owns full project lifecycle, not just sprint cadence.
• Working knowledge of how content, campaign, and customer-data systems connect (e.g., CMS, DAM, CDP) enough to scope integration work realistically.
• Comfortable evaluating API-based integrations at a conceptual level: request/response flow, authentication basics, webhook/data sync requirements.
• Experience with CMS migration mechanics — content modeling, information architecture, redirect mapping, and preserving SEO equity through a platform move.
• Vendor and tool‑onboarding experience — comfortable navigating SSO/security review, contract and procurement steps, and coordinating with IT/security stakeholders.
• Fluent with core PM risk/governance mechanics: RAID logs, dependency mapping, critical‑path thinking, and running steering‑committee‑style status updates.
• Exposure to formal change‑management methodology (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR or equivalent).
• Experience managing or reporting against an allocated budget/spend line, and flagging budget risk early.
• Strong executive‑ready communication — able to distill a multi‑team status into a clear narrative for leadership.
• PMP, PMI‑ACP/CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
