Job summary

GM Financial seeks a Marketing Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of marketing technology developers, delivering scalable marketing communications on time and aligned with product strategy. You will own technical architecture and drive refactoring with modern tooling including AI.

You will mentor engineers, promote cross-team collaboration, hire strong talent, and ensure high-quality delivery across campaigns and customer journeys in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of digital marketing technology ecosystems and how tech supports acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products (AEP/Ajo/Target/Campaign).
• Hands-on or leadership experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer including personas, audiences, journeys, personalization and channel config.
• Experience with CMS systems including AEM, WordPress, Prismic, Drupal; familiarity with design and content tools.

Responsibilities

• Enable personalized, automated customer journeys across digital channels.
• Lead team to build modern marketing applications and platforms.
• Collaborate with platform engineering to improve business capabilities of Adobe Experience Cloud.
• Partner with Marketing to improve campaign speed-to-market while ensuring security and scalability.
• Design and implement real-time, event-driven customer journeys and audience activation.
• Communicate plans for budget, resources and tools to support the product.
• Evaluate emerging MarTech capabilities including AI-driven personalization and experimentation.
