Job summary

PMG, a global independent platform company, is looking for an AI & Software Engineering Manager to lead a talented team building Alli's AI-powered features. You will drive technical vision across the AI, data, and insights pillars, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and design teams to balance innovation with business needs.

You’ll shape scalable solutions, champion best practices, and stay ahead of AI/ML advances in a fast-moving marketing tech environment in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience delivering scalable solutions.
• 2+ years leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Strong API design and system architecture fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript (Node.js, React), and Go.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud deployments.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence.
• Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for Alli’s AI-powered solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven features to guide smarter marketing decisions.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to align engineering with business goals.
• Promote best practices for code quality, testing, and scalable architecture.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and ensure maintainable code.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI/ML technologies and drive innovation for marketing tech.
• Provide technical guidance and strategic insights to client teams on media and technology trends.
