Education Service Center Region 13 seeks a Marketing Support Specialist I to assist in planning and executing marketing and communications for educational events, products, and professional learning across platforms.

The role supports engagement, promotes services, and aids campaign execution for internal and external clients. This full-time, twelve-month position reports to the Project Coordinator of Marketing and requires strong writing, organization, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Represent ESC Region 13 with professionalism in all communications
  • Assist in planning, coordination, and implementation of marketing campaigns
  • Support content creation including writing and editing for web, email, and social
  • Maintain editorial calendars and schedule content across digital platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and assets
  • Track basic performance metrics (social engagement, email opens, clicks)
  • Conduct basic market research to support campaign planning
  • Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines and style standards
  • Assist with creating marketing materials and event collateral using templates
  • Maintain organization of marketing files and project timelines
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team

Salary: This is a full-time twelve (12) month position at 232 days with a minimum annual salary of $50,489.00.

Job Summary (Primary Purpose):

The Marketing Support Specialist supports the execution of marketing and communications efforts for educational events, products, and professional learning across multiple platforms. This role helps the marketing team build engagement, promote services, and support campaign execution for internal and external clients of ESC Region 13.

Required Qualifications (Experience, Education, and Certificates):
  • 1–3 years of marketing or communications experience (internships or part-time work considered)
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content scheduling tools
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
