Job summary

A leading entertainment company in Indiana, PA is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor who excels in customer service and team collaboration. The role includes promoting Player’s card benefits, supervising staff, and ensuring an exceptional experience for guests. Candidates must have 2-3 years of casino experience or Casino Marketing background, a positive attitude, and the ability to train others. This position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of related casino experience or 6 months of Casino Marketing experience required.
  • Basic computer skills required; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Must understand and speak the English language.
  • Ability to train and mentor individuals and a team; self-starter and proactive.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior guest service by promoting Player’s card benefits and current promotions.
  • Interview, hire, train, and direct staff members effectively.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of player database.
  • Act as a role model for others in the team.
  • Promote a fun, casino-environment for guests and team members.
  • Adhere to property and departmental standards and policies.
  • Interview, hire, train, and guide staff to success.
  • Counsel team members and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Handle difficult guests and escalations effectively.
  • Supervise Marketing Representatives, scheduling and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate player database and daily logs.
  • Assist in organizing events/promotions and staffing.
  • Answer questions about Player’s Club and property details.
  • Maintain open communication with Manager and staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maximize efficiency.
  • Create engaging guest experiences appropriate for a casino.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Personally provides superior guest service by demonstrating and up-selling all levels of the Player’s card benefits, current promotions and/or events.
  • Responsible for PENN Play guest benefit delivery, providing excellent guest service while diligently and enthusiastically promoting marketing objectives.
  • Responsible for the professionalism and performance of the PENN Play staff and service areas while providing an experience that meets departmental expectations.
  • Acts as a role model for others to emulate.
  • This position is responsible for providing a high level of guest service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.
  • Understands and adheres to all property and departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Interviews, hires, trains, and directs staff members in a manner that ensures department success.
  • Proactively counsels team members and implements necessary corrective measures.
  • Effectively handles difficult guests and escalated situations expediently.
  • Supervises Marketing Representatives including scheduling, monitoring breaks, and ensuring compliance with all departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensures accuracy and integrity of player database; authorizes necessary overrides and oversees daily paperwork/logs for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assists in the organization and implementation of special events/promotions within the Marketing department. Schedules and staffs said events when necessary.
  • Able to answer all questions about Player’s Club program, gaming, and general property information.
  • Maintains open communication with Department Manager and staff.
  • Displays the ability to be a team player and interfaces with other departments to develop key relations to ensure maximum efficiency in completing job tasks.
  • Creates fun for the guests appropriate to a casino environment.
  • All other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of related casino experience or 6 months of Casino Marketing experience required.
  • Basic computer skills required; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Must understand and speak the English language.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to accurately prioritize, organize, and complete multiple activities within realistic time goals.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and must be a team player at all times.
  • Ability to train and mentor both individuals and a team.
  • Must be a self starter and require little supervision or direction.
