Job summary

Mammoth Mountain, part of Alterra Resorts, is seeking a Sponsorship Coordinator to manage activation execution and administrative duties for sponsor agreements at Mammoth and June Mountain. The role covers planning, day-of execution, reporting, and partner hospitality across a dynamic mountain environment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in events/marketing, 1+ year in sponsorship coordination, strong organizational skills, and MS Office/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in events management, marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in sponsorship coordination or activations.
  • Experience planning and promoting small-to-mid scale events or animation programming.
  • Understanding of events planning/operations; knowledge of current trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; high proficiency in Excel.
  • Outdoor enthusiast with a love for the mountain lifestyle.
  • Full-time, seasonal, in-person, on-site position.
  • Self-starter who can generate activation ideas and adapt quickly.
  • Problem solver with a solution-based mindset; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for the execution of marketing deliverables for our resort sponsors, assisting with reporting/documenting of activations and assisting with resort partner hospitality requirements. The candidate must be a problem-solver, with a high level of organizational skills and ability to take initiative. The position will report directly to the Events, Sponsorship and Athlete Director in the Marketing Department.* This position assists in the planning, logistics, and day-of execution of activations ranging from tastings and demos to full-scale event sponsorships. This position also handles essential administrative responsibilities such as overseeing assets, fulfillment, deliverables tracking, documenting activations, prepare reports and presentations on sponsor activities, and various projects needed within the Sponsorship and Events team. The role will also support the social team with content capture as it related to activations and partnership inclusion requirements. By maintaining operational excellence, aligning with resort and Alterra strategies, and driving measurable outcomes, this position directly supports both short- and long-term revenue growth while strengthening the resort's brand relationships.
