The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) integrated operating unit tirelessly strives to improve and save lives of people living with cardiac arrhythmias. Our portfolio includes pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable cardiac monitors that transmit data to programmers and patient device monitors. This data helps clinicians make informed treatment decisions over the device's lifetime. The portfolio includes programmer devices, patient monitors, and the Carelink software, collectively known as Patient Care Systems (PCS).

We are hiring a passionate, strategic Marketing Specialist to lead the creation and execution of marketing plans that effectively communicate the value of Medtronic’s Remote Monitor portfolio to patients, clinicians, and field teams. The Senior Marketing Specialist will collaborate with PCS product managers and sales leaders to develop tactics and programs aimed at increasing healthcare professional awareness, belief, and adoption of Medtronic’s Remote Monitoring technologies, ultimately enhancing patient quality of life.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
CRM Patient Remote Monitoring Product Marketing
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication plans across multiple channels, including promotional activities, digital media, campaigns, and sales initiatives, to promote our value proposition and increase US adoption of CRM Patient Monitoring products and technologies.
  • Measure and articulate the return on marketing investments, track metrics, and optimize performance to demonstrate value.
  • Serve as a consultant for the Patient Care Systems unit to guide decisions on customer preferences, messaging, market needs, and overall business strategy.
  • Act as a product and market expert, gathering competitive intelligence and executing campaigns to strengthen Medtronic’s brand preference.
  • Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), lead customer meetings, and gather physician input to build advocates and influence strategy.
  • Support educational and training programs for physicians, hospital staff, and Medtronic personnel on product utilization. Assist with sales and new hire training as needed.
  • Collaborate with global and regional partners to communicate marketing initiatives, launch timelines, and share best practices.
  • Maintain a patient-first mindset, advocating for unmet needs of patients and clinicians, and being energized by innovation’s impact on lives.
  • Present marketing initiatives, product launch metrics, and growth opportunities to leadership.
  • Monitor adoption trends and partner with US business leaders to deepen market penetration.
MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant marketing experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, or deep industry knowledge of key audiences.

  • Experience translating business objectives into marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple products and initiatives simultaneously.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for market visits and meetings.
