Title: Marketing Specialist 2 – Key Accounts – Employee Benefits
Remote: Eastern Standard Time Zone only | Location/Supporting: Longwood, FL | Experience: Self-Funded and Stop Loss contracts and marketing processes

About the Role : This role leads carrier marketing efforts for the IOA Benefits department, overseeing client communications, team coordination, and marketing strategy. Responsibilities include negotiating with carriers, conducting market research, managing presentations, and identifying sales opportunities. A strong understanding of Self-Funding, Stop Loss, and TPA contracts is essential. The position also supports business growth and client retention through collaboration with producers.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Service: Deliver outstanding service to internal and external clients by understanding their needs, implementing effective solutions, and responding promptly to service requests.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership within the Benefits team, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist others.
Carrier Marketing: Go to market for rating, negotiate with carriers, and ensure optimal products and pricing are secured.
Presentation Development: Collaborate with Producers to develop and prepare accurate, branded, and effective presentation materials for client meetings.
Carrier Relationships: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with carrier partners.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends and competitor offerings, and communicate insights to relevant team members.
Sales Support: Identify and act on opportunities to grow IOA business through strategic marketing initiatives.
Project Management: Manage multiple marketing projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Team Oversight: Direct Account Coordinator(s) in support of carrier marketing activities and ensure alignment with team goals.
Performance Monitoring: Track individual and team performance to ensure productivity, efficiency, and service standards are met.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement best practices to enhance team and organizational effectiveness.
Technical Competence: Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and industry expertise .
Professional Development: Encourage and participate in the ongoing growth and development of Benefits team personnel.
Communication: Maintain transparent communication with leadership and implement performance feedback.
Champion IOA core values and demonstrate integrity and leadership.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
7+ years of professional experience
Proficiency in understanding Self-Funded and Stop Loss Contracts
Knowledge of Self-Funding and Stop Loss marketing processes
Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and analytical skills
Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent PC skills and technical proficiency
Exceptional personal character
High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Salary Range
The expected pay range for this position is 90-105K annually, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
