****This position will be based out of Allatoona Lake Marina in Canton, GA (Atlanta area)***

Suntex Marinas is a high- company investing exclusively in niche mixed-use marinas and their related operating platforms. We have acquired, developed, and operated over 95 full-service marinas which include retail spaces, office buildings, resorts, hotels, and restaurants.

Position Purpose:

The Marketing Specialist supports a wide range of marketing initiatives with a high level of focus on assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. The Marketing Specialist requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and organizational skills to provide support in various marketing channels, from digital campaigns and social media to print and event marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in scheduling and posting content across our social media channels
• Keep our content fresh by making simple edits or sharing new ideas
• Organize and maintain marketing assets like photos, logos, and templates
• Collect and organize marketing data for reports and presentations
• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns
• Track social media engagement and flag trends or insights
• Assist in research industry trends, competitors, and new marketing ideas

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Must have experience with content strategy, creation, and optimization
• Must have a solid understanding of design programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Must have familiarity with tools such as Canva, HubSpot, Monday, Meta Business Suite, etc.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• The employee works in a general office environment spending most of their time seated at a desk with a chair.
• Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds independently
• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, repetitive hand and arm movements, squeezing, and overhead reaching occasionally.
• Must be able to operate general computer equipment to include laptop, keyboard, mouse, monitors, printer, desk phone, etc. with ease.
