Actalent is seeking a Marketing Specialist to optimize the customer journey through data-driven insights and KPI development. You will partner with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Business stakeholders to analyze performance and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities include building predictive models, developing dashboards in Power BI, and communicating recommendations to diverse audiences to influence strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Analytics experience applying to marketing, sales, or customer lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, data mining, segmentation, forecasting, and experimental design.
• Advanced Power BI skills with dashboards and visualization best practices.
• Experience with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and CRM analytics.
• Ability to independently build reports and dashboards that influence decisions.
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights.

Marketing Specialist

Drive Marketing Performance Through Advanced Analytics

Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable business insights? We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Digital Marketing Strategy team and play a key role in optimizing the customer journey through data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will partner with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Business stakeholders to analyze performance across the customer lifecycle, develop meaningful KPIs, and deliver insights that drive revenue growth and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Analyze marketing and sales performance data, including campaign effectiveness, lead generation, customer engagement, conversion rates, and sales funnel performance.

• Build predictive models, perform statistical analysis, and conduct segmentation and forecasting to identify trends and growth opportunities.

• Design and evaluate experiments (A/B testing and related methodologies) to measure business impact and optimize outcomes.

• Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI to provide visibility into key business metrics.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and establish measurement frameworks.

• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Identify performance gaps, uncover business opportunities, and recommend data-backed solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

• Experience applying analytics to support marketing, sales, or customer lifecycle initiatives.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
