Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC in Boston, MA seeks an Associate Director to deliver commercial insights for hemoglobinopathies and other categories. You will lead an insights plan, design primary market research, and define analytics to inform strategic decisions within a hybrid work model (3 days on-site, 2 days remote).

You will partner with marketing, global commercial strategy, and finance teams, maintain an insights book, and contribute to brand planning while supporting long-range forecasting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically requires 8+ years in bio-pharma marketing, market research and/or analytics.
• Experience designing and executing primary market research projects.

Responsibilities

• Function as a key partner and provide objective perspective and insights to cross-functional teams (marketing, global commercial strategy, commercial business unit).
• Formulate a comprehensive insights generation plan to address a spectrum of business questions using the appropriate methodology.
• Independently design and execute primary market research that addresses key business questions.
• Define data analytics needed to answer ongoing business questions and oversee its execution.
• Support the analytics coordination forum which provides cross-functional alignment on analytics activities supporting the program.
• Maintain a current summary of all the insights supporting a disease area in the form of an Insights book.
• Develop the situation analysis for the Brand Planning process.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the LRP forecast model and provide assumptions that inform the Long-Range Plan.
