Job summary

Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine seeks a Marketing Sales Representative to identify, cultivate, and manage referral relationships within behavioral health. You will play a key role expanding community partnerships and promoting our inpatient and outpatient services.

Candidates need 2+ years in healthcare marketing or sales, a degree in marketing or related field, proficiency with CRM systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, psychology or related field.
• 2+ years in healthcare marketing or sales; behavioral health preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) and MS Office; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital leadership and partners to build and strengthen community referrals.
• Conduct outreach, meetings and tours with referral sources, patients and families.
• Explain levels of care and programs (adult, geriatric, dual-diagnosis, crisis stabilization, outpatient step-down).
• Guide patients and families toward appropriate treatment and reduce admission barriers.
• Coordinate with admissions, clinical and medical staff for smooth referral-to-admission transitions.

Our hospital will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder.

The Marketing Sales Representative plays a key role in identifying, cultivating, and managing referral relationships and partnership opportunities in the behavioral health space.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, or sales – behavioral health preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Guide patients and families toward appropriate treatment, addressing concerns and removing barriers to admission.
• Partner with admissions, clinical, and medical staff to ensure smooth referral-to-admission transitions.
