Job summary

Union Pacific Railroad is offering a year-round Marketing & Sales internship in Omaha, NE. You will support core operations, assist with growth initiatives, and gain hands-on experience across business groups while interacting with senior leaders.

The role requires in-person work during the summer, with relocation stipends available for eligible candidates and housing accommodations if needed. Expect 15–25 hours weekly during the academic year and full-time in summer.

Qualifications

• College credits equivalent to one year toward an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic organization, prioritization and time/project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Core Business Operations: assist with department tasks and customer service for the front-line Sales team.
• Contribute to Growth Initiatives: support customer outreach and help identify new market opportunities.
• Provide administrative assistance to teams to keep projects and operations running smoothly.
• Collaborate on Projects: develop and execute plans to improve internal processes and customer/employee satisfaction.
• Build Professional Networks: engage with professionals across departments.
• Manage Real Initiatives: assist with project management and special assignments.
• Use Salesforce and Tableau to document work and generate reports for sales initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
