Job summary

CoStar Group, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Research Advisor to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. You will build relationships with decision-makers across CRE spaces, curate listings, and capture market-critical information to empower clients on our platform.

This internship-oriented role contributes to a comprehensive CRE database and strategic market insights. You will conduct extensive calls, analyze trends, and collaborate with regional teams to tell the story of an entire market while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with a 3.0 GPA and anticipated graduation Dec 2026 or May 2027.
• Summer 2026 Research Internship with CoStar Group completed.
• Majoring in real estate, business, economics, finance, management, or comparable program.
• Microsoft Office & Excel 365 is required.
• Flexibility to work shifts aligned with ET, CT, MT, and PT time zones.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to growth of an accurate and complete database of commercial real estate inventory.
• Conduct 50+ daily inbound and outbound calls with brokers, developers, investors, and other real estate professionals to obtain real-time data.
• Investigate new space listings, recent sale and lease transactions, building ownership and construction in a market.
• Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clients.
• Partner with clients to help them position and market their properties on the CoStar platform.
• Dissect trends and collaborate with regional teams to qualify data for market storytelling.
