Duties and Responsibilities
- Read RFQ/P documents thoroughly and prepare proposal checklists that list client submission requirements and identify proposal team action items.
- Demonstrate experience with a CRM database; Microsoft Dynamics, Unanet (Cosential), or Deltek Vision (preferred).
- Demonstrate experience with Adobe InDesign. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
- Understand the SF 330 / Architect‑Engineer Qualifications process (experience preferred).
- Lead pursuit teams on kickoff calls to develop winning strategies, assign team responsibilities, and establish deadlines.
- Prepare presentations and coach technical teams in preparation for client interviews.
- Track future project leads and update information regularly in the CRM database.
- Enter and update personnel and project information in the CRM database to maintain accurate records.
- Work with technical project managers and marketing content/support team to develop comprehensive materials highlighting KCI's staff and capabilities.
- Conduct background research and gather and tailor supporting materials.
- Work with the marketing content team to develop high‑impact graphics for proposals and presentations.
- Provide quality control review of marketing peer proposals.
- Print, assemble, and ship proposals and/or prepare electronic submission files as needed.
- Coordinate with teaming partners and respond to external requests for proposal information.
- DOT proposal experience is highly preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field preferred.
- Pre‑employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based on the position.
