Job description

This position is REMOTE in Eastern Standard Time Zone.

The Marketing Project Manager will support and develop new growth opportunities for a wide variety of business projects in collaboration with marketing, sales, and other key business stakeholders. The successful incumbent will have the opportunity to oversee and manage projects related to marketing projects and campaigns, analyze a wide variety of market and product data, and provide key insights that will help drive sales performance and support revenue growth. Must be able to travel.

What you will do:

Marketing Project Management

  • Oversee the launch of a growth initiative from start to finish and manage the strategic steps from the brainstorming and research phase, through implementation and execution, to debriefing and reporting.
  • To follow the overall vision from the Head of Growth Marketing and marketing department, this position will carry out the vision on a granular level managing the tasks specific to the team of marketers, vendors, and support staff involved in the project.
  • Carry out the scope of the project, assign marketing tasks, set deadlines for team members, assist in budget allocations, make adjustments during the project duration, manage communication with stakeholders, effectively communicate information and obtain buy-in needed to get the project across the finish line.
  • With the focus on growth marketing, tasks include working alongside the Head of Growth Marketing, assisting in the marketing strategy, creating and managing calendars, assigning tasks to team members, manage timing of publications, building internal and external relationships, creating project timelines, holding project members accountable, delegating tasks, timely follow up, keeping the team on task and on time, creating marketing reports from analysis, working closely with the marketing and sales teams.

Campaign Execution, Tracking and Reporting

  • Assist with development and implementation of marketing campaigns, recommend changes and modifications to various campaign data.
  • Manage growth marketing campaigns and provide recommendations. Perform tests and ensure campaign implementation.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of dashboards and regular reporting to measure marketing performance, drawing on a variety of data sources. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure initiatives align with overarching department and company objectives.
  • Conduct analysis of marketing initiative and program performance and provide specific recommendations and actions aimed at improving ROI and optimize the design of marketing programs and campaigns. Assess, recommend, and acquire new valuable data from internal and external sources to create insights, analysis, and recommendations for the Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Create reports based on marketing and sales activity, specifically in Microsoft D365.
  • Manage the process of measuring, tracking, and reports of marketing projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare analysis to provide both custom and standard reports to Head of Growth Marketing for decision making growth strategies.

Trade Shows/Events and Sponsorships

  • Manage the trade show process and work with partners and vendors to ensure logistics and planning are completed including contracts, booth layout, marketing materials, show execution, etc.
  • Assist in planning and executing internal company events as needed.
  • Assist sales teams with external events including planning, logistics, and execution.
  • Manage the company various sponsorship processes to assist the VP of Marketing and Head of Growth Marketing including the contract process, ticket distribution, event space planning, day-of execution, sponsorship opportunities, and trade show sponsorships.
  • Develop relationships with partners, vendors, and teams within the company.
  • Some travel will be required.

Marketing Support

  • Manage the company e-store and processes for maintenance, apparel, and promotional items, and assist company employees in ordering process as needed.
  • Manage the marketing invoicing process with the Marketing and Finance departments.
  • Support Marketing and Sales teams with day-to-day marketing activities and deliverables as needed.

What you will need:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, ideally in a quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a marketing role, with experience applying marketing strategies and campaign tracking.
  • Knowledge and practical application of Data Analyzation, Project Management & Organization, Research platforms Zoom Info & D&B Hoovers, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ZoomInfo, D&B Hoovers, CRM (D365), Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Power Bi, Google Marketing Tools (Analytics, Ads, Data Studio, etc), Basecamp (or similar PM tools), Email Marketing & Automation Software .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
