Job summary

AFL is seeking a Marketing Project Team Lead to guide the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of marketing project management. You will own workflows, tools, and processes while leading a team coordinating day-to-day project delivery.

The ideal candidate brings proven people leadership, a process-driven mindset, and cross-functional partnership to scale marketing operations. You will drive portfolio delivery, ensure on-time results, and collaborate with marketing leadership to align

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent).
6+ years in marketing project management, operations, or related discipline.
2+ years of people management experience.
Proven experience leading complex cross-functional marketing projects.
Experience prioritizing portfolios, capacity planning, and resource management.
Deep familiarity with marketing workflows across digital, content, creative, and campaign execution.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Marketing Project Managers and the Traffic Manager.
Coach, provide feedback, balance workload, and support career development.
Set expectations for project intake, planning, execution, and delivery.
Foster ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Lead marketing project management across campaigns, content, digital, events, product launches, and brand initiatives.
Ensure projects are scoped, prioritized, and delivered on time within parameters.
Resolve cross-functional issues and elevate as needed.
Partner with marketing leadership to align execution with priorities.
Own portfolio delivery performance and escalation resolution.
Own workflow effectiveness and tool administration in partnership with Traffic Management.
Identify gaps, design process improvements, and drive scalability.
Establish PM standards, governance, and documentation.
Lead training, adoption, and compliance for PM processes.
