Lifeline Blood Services in Jackson, TN is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead campaigns and enhance public image while promoting blood donations.

Reporting to the Director of Community Services, you will develop strategies, manage media relations, and coordinate promotional materials. Travel around 30% is expected.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in public relations, with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 - 5 years with Public Relations Experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement blood donation promotion programs
• Create motivational social media, television, radio, print ads and messages
• Maintain appropriate website and social media content
• Write and send articles to newspaper in our counties when applicable
• Create pamphlets and/or other public relations, educational materials and company literature
• Develop PR strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to improve public perception and increase volunteer blood donations
• Prepare quarterly In-Kind reports and end of promotional packets for give a ways over $6,000
• Prepare and deliver public speaking regarding the need for blood and the work of Lifeline Blood Services
• Prepare newspaper releases, media kits and PSAs
• Procure and maintain company sponsorships for In Kind support or financial donations
• Maintain effective working relationships with local and municipal government officials and media representatives
• Keep comprehensive information about the company up-to-date
• Conduct media interview and maintain working relationships
