Job summary

Empire Fiber seeks a Marketing Performance Analyst to turn market, customer, and campaign insights into growth strategies. You will drive subscriber growth, market penetration, and campaign ROI across Rochester and nearby markets, translating data into actionable recommendations for leadership.

Applicants should have 2–4 years in marketing data analysis, strong Excel/SQL/Power BI skills, and a knack for communicating insights to executives.

Qualifications

• Strong business acumen and analytical thinking with ability to translate data trends into actions.
• 2-4 years’ experience in marketing data analysis or BI, preferably in telecom or broadband.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and Power BI; CRM experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and attention-to-detail.
• Knowledge of FTTH metrics like installation rates, adoption, and churn is desirable.
• Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to leaders.

Empire Fiber is seeking someone to join our Marketing Department within the following areas: Rochester, NY | Ithaca, NY | Elmira, NY |Corning, NY |

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Marketing Performance Analyst toturn market, customer, and campaign insights into business recommendations that drive subscriber growth, improve market penetration, increase campaign ROI, and support revenue performance across new and established markets. This role goes beyond reporting by helping leaders understand what is working, what is not, where to focus, and how to win.

What You’ll Do:

• Subscriber Growth: Identify opportunities to increase new customer acquisition in priority markets.
• Market Penetration: Help determine where marketing and sales activity should be focused to improve adoption.
• Marketing Effectiveness: Determine which campaigns, channels, messages, and offers generate the strongest response and should be scaled.
• Campaign ROI: Measure which campaigns, channels, offers, and tactics drive the strongest return.
• Revenue Performance: Support pricing, promotion, and customer mix analysis to improve ARPU.
• Retention & Customer Quality: Analyze churn, early-life customer behavior, and save opportunities to improve long-term customer value.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to connect data trends to business actions that improve acquisition, retention, revenue, and market performance.
• 2-4 years’ experience in marketing data analysis or business intelligence, preferably in telecommunications or broadband services.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and visualization tools such as Power BI; CRM experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of FTTH operational metrics, including installation rates, service adoption, and churn, is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate insights and recommendations clearly to business leaders, translating analysis into practical next steps.
