Personalization strategy without activation is just a slide deck.
At Better Digital, the Marketing Orchestration Engineer is where strategy becomes something a customer actually experiences. You’ll own the activation layer: designing and building cross-channel journeys in Adobe Journey Optimizer that connect directly to the architecture and data foundation our team has built.
This isn’t a campaign operations role. You’re not executing briefs someone else wrote. You’ll work alongside our Architects and Data Engineers from day one, making sure the journey logic reflects how the data actually behaves, and pushing back when it doesn’t. You are accountable for whether the journeys actually fire, perform, and deliver what the architecture promised.
What this takes:
This role offers a base salary in the range of $175,000–$195,000 annually, based on experience.
Why Better Digital:
This industry burns good people out. Large SIs hand you a ticket queue and a client who’s already been oversold. Small shops keep you busy but rarely make you better.
Better Digital is the third option. We are intentionally small, senior at every level, and built around work that actually matters. No layers. No handoffs. The same people who design the architecture are accountable for whether it performs.
You will work alongside people who have been doing this longer than most firms have existed. The expectation is simple: you own your work, your decisions, and the outcome. That is the standard here.
The problems are hard. The clients are real. And the reputation you build here will follow you for the rest of your career.
If you have been the smartest person in the room on a bad project and want to see what it looks like when the work is done right, let’s talk.
Direct applicants only. No agencies or third-party recruiters. U.S.-based candidates only. We are not able to sponsor employment at this time.
