Job summary

wkt is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to provide daily operational, logistical, and administrative support across marketing, communications, advertising, events, and community engagement activities.

This role focuses on execution—ensuring projects, campaigns, and events run smoothly by coordinating tasks, gathering content, maintaining schedules, and supporting the Marketing & Revenue Manager and Marketing Specialist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics).
• Basic graphic design skills (knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and social media trends.
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing, and PPC advertising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and schedule posts using approved content, templates, and brand guidelines across all approved media items and content.
• Monitor, research and provide a timely response to social media comments and messages.
• Maintain content calendars and due dates.
• Capture photos and videos at local and employee events for use in social media and marketing content.
• Manage the social media calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all platforms.
• Stay informed on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
• Support ad campaigns by gathering data, preparing assets, and coordinating tasks.
