Talkdesk competes in a fast-moving enterprise market where durable, efficient growth separates market leaders from companies that simply outspend their way to results. To win, Talkdesk needs a disciplined go-to-market engine: one where every investment translates directly into results, resources are deployed with precision, and strategy converts to flawless execution.
This role of Senior Manager of Marketing Operations is central to delivering on this need. Sitting at the bridge between high-level GTM strategy and day-to-day execution, you will ensure marketing investments directly drive pipeline and business growth. You will give leadership the strategic clarity needed to deploy resources for maximum return, while establishing the framework that clearly demonstrates marketing's full value.
You are at the center of the Marketing organization, partnering directly with the CMO, marketing leadership, campaign leads and project managers. While your peers manage the underlying martech systems, automation workflows and campaign requests, you will own the operational rhythms that power the department: fiscal planning, cross-functional program governance and actionable executive insights.
In practice, that means championing insights over information. You will look past reports and dashboards to uncover the root causes behind the numbers, analyzing full-funnel performance to guide what programs to scale, what to reduce and where the next dollar of investment should go. It means serving as the operational driver for the CMO's key strategic initiatives, translating annual priorities into structured execution roadmaps, milestone tracking and cross-functional accountability. It also means breaking down team silos to accelerate speed to market: rearchitecting workflows across creative, content, web, social, product marketing and demand gen to help the entire marketing organization operate with greater velocity.
You operate with a high degree of autonomy and strategic ownership. When executive leadership defines the top priorities for the year, you do not need step‑by‑step instructions to make them happen. You translate high‑level vision into structured programs, rally cross‑functional teams around shared milestones, and maintain accountability through delivery. Context and goals come from your leadership; the execution, operational cadence and momentum are yours to lead.
You are invested in the success and credibility of the Marketing organization. You understand that dashboards and charts only matter if they drive better decisions. When leadership asks what is working, what should be discontinued or where to deploy the next dollar, you have the business acumen and full‑funnel grasp to deliver the answer. You treat data as an executive narrative that demonstrates marketing’s total contribution to pipeline, revenue, and business growth.
You are a collaborative bridge‑builder with the vision to challenge legacy workflows. Campaign leads, creative teams, content developers and field marketers are your primary stakeholders. You understand their day‑to‑day work well enough to see where multi‑step handoffs and disjointed ticketing systems create operational drag. You build trust across disciplines, bring colleagues along through change and design streamlined workflows that help everyone execute with greater speed..
You are hands‑on in the systems and committed to finishing what you start. You do not wait on dedicated data analysts or reporting teams to answer critical questions; you build what you need to answer questions and unlock insights. You continuously look for ways to make the broader department more effective, whether through practical AI adoption or structured planning frameworks. When you take on a major initiative or planning cycle, you manage dependencies, address friction points early and see the work through to concrete business impact.
