Job description

The Marketing Operations Manager will work across North America (US, Canada, Mexico) supporting the Alexa Brand & Integrated Marketing team with the planning and execution of mass advertising, social, and other marketing initiatives across North America, including the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This role will play a critical part in ensuring seamless operations for media, budget, and creative workflows. This includes working closely with internal cross-functional teams, media partners, and external agencies to manage key operational processes including budget tracking, invoicing, creative trafficking, and reporting. This role will also help document and improve marketing playbooks, refining best practices for budget management, media operations, and campaign execution.

Key job responsibilities
1. Budget & Financial Management: Owns budget tracking and reconciliation for North America marketing campaigns. Manages invoicing, purchase orders (Pos), and vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Works closely with finance and procurement teams to align on budget forecasting and spend tracking.
2. Media & Creative Operations: Maintains media flowcharts, tracking all active and planned media investments. Oversees creative asset trafficking, ensuring timely delivery to media partners and internal social teams. Collaborates with media and creative teams to streamline asset management and distribution.
3. Reporting & Documentation: Develop and distribute weekly and regular reporting on budget, campaign performance, and media delivery. Supports the team in documenting an improving playbooks for marketing operations, including A) budget management processes, B) media planning and execution workflows, and C) rhythms of business (ROB) and cross-functional coordination.

Alexa Marketing is a dynamic team of advertising, media, social, lifecycle, and channel marketers. We are a diverse and collaborative team united by our mission to make Alexa an indispensable part of customers' lives.- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience in a marketing role- Experience working with a Content Management System (e.g. Wordpress, Drupla, Joomla, etc.)
- Experience in a marketing role and proficient with analytic tools
- Experience with media and/or creative operations (media flowcharts, tracking active and planned media investments, creative asset trafficking)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $54,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $116,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
